UPMC Altoona to Celebrate Hanukkah with Menorah Lighting
WHAT: UPMC Altoona marks the start of Hanukkah with the lighting of a Menorah. Also called the Jewish Festival of Lights, the eight-day festival remembers the rededication of the Temple by the Maccabees after their victory over the Syrians.
WHEN: 10 a.m., Wednesday, Dec. 28
WHERE: Hospital Atrium, 620 Howard Ave.
This event is open to the public; refreshments will be served.
