UPMC Altoona Foundation Hosts ‘Winter Splendor’
ALTOONA, Pa., Dec. 5, 2016 UPMC Altoona Foundation will host “Winter Splendor” from 6 to 10:30 p.m., Friday, Jan. 20, 2017, at the Blair County Convention Center.
Funds raised are used for access to care for underinsured patients at UPMC Altoona. Dr. Dave and Cristin Burwell and Dr. Grant and Kathy Hormell are the honorary hosts. Attire is business casual. A fun event, this exciting evening features great food and live music entertainment with Dr. Zoot from Pittsburgh.
The program includes a reception and cash bar, dinner, a gift basket raffle with more than 50 assorted baskets, silent and live auctions. Carolyn Donaldson, WPSU-TV community engagement manager, is mistress of ceremonies. Part of the evening includes UPMC Altoona’s Healthcare Honors awards and other staff recognition awards.
